  We are seeing a surge in a very convincing scam targeting Discord users (and spreading to Instagram/other platforms). Scammers are compromising accounts (including friends or popular ones) and using them to mass-DM fake screenshots like the ones shared here.

These messages claim things like:
- "MrBeast" or a "gaming partner" is giving away huge bonuses ($2500+, $27,000 withdrawals shown).
- Promo codes to "activate" free rewards on a gambling/crypto site.
- Proof of instant big withdrawals with green success screens and crypto options.

This is 100% a scam.
- MrBeast has no official gambling site, casino app, or bonus codes.
- The screenshots are fabricated (Photoshopped or from fake demo dashboards).
- The sites are fraudulent — they show fake wins to bait you, then demand real crypto deposits for "verification" before any payout (which never happens).

What to Do Immediately:
1. Do NOT click any links, enter codes, sign up, or follow instructions from these DMs — even if from a friend.
2. Ignore and report suspicious DMs (right-click → Report → Spam/Scam).
3. Verify with the real person — If a friend sends weird stuff, ask them in voice chat or a server channel they control (not DMs).
4. Secure your account:
- Don't authorize unknown discord bots or websites to your account
- Enable 2FA (two-factor authentication) if not already on.
- Change your password.
- Log out of all devices (Discord settings → Devices).
- Never share login details or click suspicious links.
5. Spread awareness — Share this announcement in other servers/groups to protect others.

If you've already engaged (clicked, signed up, or deposited anything), act fast:
- Disconnect any linked wallets/apps.
- Report to Discord/Instagram.
- Monitor your accounts for unauthorized activity.
- If crypto was sent, unfortunately recovery is very difficult — but report to authorities/crypto platforms.

Your safety is our top priority. Scams like this rely on trust and speed — slow down, verify, and stay skeptical of "too good to be true" offers.

Hey everyone,

  Scammers DM you posing as "Discord Support" or hacked friends, claiming your account is flagged for fraud/violations & will be banned/deleted imminently. They panic you with urgent threats like "Act now or lose everything!"

They instruct emailing fake support (e.g., [email protected]) to "appeal," or changing your email to theirs for "protection." Often, they send phishing links, QR codes, or "game tests" that steal login tokens/credentials.

Once hijacked, they alter password/email, disable 2FA (using backups), log you out everywhere, & use your account to spam friends, join scam servers, steal payments, or destroy communities.

Gains: Sell rare accounts (badges/Nitro), spread malware, impersonate for more scams, or access private data.

Tips: Official Discord NEVER DMs—SYSTEM tags only. Enable 2FA, ignore unsolicited links/QR, scan devices for malware, report via dis.gd/report. Verify via official site!

  Today, January 10th, marks the day I created our server with my own hands. It's been an incredible three years since we kicked off this adventure, and now we're truly stepping into Year 4!

I had planned something special for today, but I didn't quite finish it on time... and I guess that's okay. Because Bangwing IN has never been about perfect plans or flashy announcements. It's about us—the real connections, the late-night chats, the laughter, the creativity, and the support we give each other. By the way, did you know it's exactly 1,000 days since the server was created, and we've hit 1,000+ members? Not perfectly aligned, but special in its own way!

From our humble beginnings as a small gaming group to now boasting over 1,200 members, hosting epic events, and celebrating every festival together... I love those vibes!

Today, I made a small change—I hope you like it. I updated our milestone stats channel name from "10,000 members" to "| |ॐ श्री गणेशाय नमः | |"—a tribute to Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, the symbol of new beginnings, and the source of knowledge.

I'm sorry if we've ever disappointed you personally. With the blessings of Lord Ganesha, I promise to manage the server on a regular basis and keep building this space we all cherish.
