TO CARSON

Carson, I just want you to know how incredibly proud I am of you and everything you’ve been doing lately. I know things aren’t always easy, and I know there are days when you might not feel like you’re doing enough, but from where I’m standing, I can see how far you’ve come. You’re doing so much better than you probably give yourself credit for, and I genuinely hope you realise that. Every little step you take forward matters, even when it doesn’t feel like it does.

I’m so proud of the way you keep going, even when things get difficult. You have so much strength inside you, and I admire the fact that you continue trying instead of giving up. You don’t have to have everything figured out all at once. Just getting through each day, trying your best, and continuing to move forward is something worth being proud of. Please don’t compare your progress to anyone else’s, because your journey is your own, and you’re doing amazingly.

You should also be proud of the person you are becoming. You’re kind, caring, and genuinely thoughtful, and those qualities are worth so much more than you realise. The way you care about the people around you says a lot about your heart. I hope you never forget that being a good person isn’t about being perfect; it’s about continuing to learn, grow, and try. And honestly, Carson, I can see you doing exactly that.

Whenever you feel like you aren’t doing well enough, I hope you remember how many reasons there are to be proud of yourself. Look at how much you’ve already managed to get through. Look at all the moments where you could have given up but chose to keep going. Those moments matter. Even if nobody else sees every little thing you’re dealing with, I want you to know that I see how hard you’re trying, and I’m genuinely proud of you for it.

So Carson, please keep going. Keep being yourself, keep taking things one day at a time, and keep believing that better days are possible. You don’t need to be perfect, and you don’t need to prove your worth to anyone. You’re already someone worth being proud of. I’ll always be cheering you on and celebrating your progress, no matter how big or small it might seem. You’re doing so well, Carson, and I hope one day you can look at yourself and feel the same pride that I feel when I look at how far you’ve come.
