The crew consists of NASA Astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Koch, and Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen.
The Artemis II astronauts will circle around the Moon in the Orion capsule and return to Earth, a mission lasting 10 days. The purpose of the Artemis II mission is to verify life support, spacecraft, navigation, and deep space systems before a crewed landing with Artemis III.
The first launch window for Artemis II is scheduled for no earlier than February 6th 2026.
