The All or Everything community has announced the launch of Reef Media, an all-in-one tool developed by @arden.dev designed to combat misinformation on Discord. This grassroots initiative offers commands like /analyze, /verify, and /evaluate to help users quickly check the factual accuracy and bias of media, claims, and images. Reef Media aims to save users time and empower individuals by providing access to substantiated information, with future plans including deepfake detection.

@arden.dev has been building Reef Media - An all-in-one tool that can save you countless hours avoiding junk media, verifying/researching claims other users make on discord, and easing access to the most substantiated media on Discord! It's a grassroots attempt at mitigating misinformation, meant to empower the individual, not serve corporations.🌍😇
Many of these commands also have context menu versions that work as well or can be used through the /menu.
- /analyze - Analyze any article, video, or social media post for factual accuracy and bias. (May have issues with content behind paywalls). 🔍
- /summarize - Save yourself time by getting the most important details from media.
- /verify - Quick verification of specific claims or statements made by users, paired with citations. 💬
- /evaluate - Evaluate infographics and images for misinformation, logical fallacies, and rhetorical flaws. The future plans include deepfake detection for political images. (Under Development)
Content Generation
- /curate - Find the most reliable media on any topic with a variety of media types. 🧐
- /research - Research the claims useres make on Discord or the topics discussed in media like articles, videos, etc. to get a stronger understanding 🧠
