Reconnecting With Lebanese Heritage and Culture

Hi! I'm Lebanese and I was born in America. How do I learn about the culture and visit Lebanon respectfully?

Hi everyone! This is my first time posting on the sub. I've spent the past few weeks just reading and seeing what I can learn.

I was born in America and my father was adopted in a closed adoption. Basically, we didn't know who his biological parents were until 7-8 years ago. We did know he was Lebanese however.

He did an online DNA test and there was a section about people you might be related to. My dad reached out to some of those people just incase someone knew his parents and our family. Turns out they did!

We're related to the largest Lebanese community in the United States. Our family is HUGE!!! We rent out school gym bleachers for our family photos.

Suddenly I started experiencing such a different culture. Different foods, im learning about more about religions in general, etc.

So all that context is to ask where do I start? My ideal goal would be learning the native language, being able to visit, and learn more about Allah.

This discover of my heritage is really important to me, but above all I want to be respectful while being apart of this community. How do I learn a culture I belong to but never knew?

Any tips and advise are appreciated. Thanks!

Palestinians in lebanon

I am a Jew from muslim majority area, Dagestan Republic. All my people left it in 1990s because of rising of radical islam and criminal.

I know there was same thing in Lebanon so there is a lot of Lebanese Jews in Israel. And we also know that here is a lot of Palestinian refugese in Lebanon. So why Lebanese goverment fo solve the refugee problem dont give palestinians a homes and land that Jews left in Lebanon?

Compensation for the destruction

Why are we not demanding compensation from Iran and Israel for the destruction in the south, Bekaa, and Beirut? It could bring in a lot of money if they tried. Especially Iran under Trump’s administration

Ceasefire Deal Claims and Biden’s Middle East Address

Biden Lied - Ego Trip

ISRAEL HAS NEVER ACCEPTED A CEASEFIRE DEAL. ITS ALL LIES.
Biden sought to present himself as a negotiator of peace in the Middle East during his global farewell broadcast. Once again, U.S. media has propagated misleading information. Israel has not agreed to a ceasefire; it’s all fabricated. Biden once again LIED.

Even the fake deal was horrendous.

The deal was a phase one 42 day ceasefire with 600 trucks of fuel and aide from USA. Phase 2 would not even meet to negotiate until day 16 out of 42. Only 30 Israel hostages released while Iran Hamas and Palestine would receive hundreds of terrorist prisoners.
