What does the okay emoji mean?

The ultimate expression of suffering through a forced, polite thumbs up.

This iconic meme, often called 'Crying Thumbs Up Cat,' perfectly captures the feeling of being absolutely miserable while trying to maintain a facade of compliance. It is a staple in Discord servers for reacting to bad news, overwhelming workloads, or awkward situations where you just have to accept your fate with a smile.

When to use it

  • Acknowledging bad news with forced positivity
  • Agreeing to do extra work while dying inside
  • Reacting to an awkward or painful situation
  • Showing fake support for a terrible idea
