What does the call emoji mean?

A persistent nudge to get your friends into the voice channel.

This emoji is a staple for Discord servers where users are notoriously shy about hopping into voice chat. It serves as a playful, repetitive call-to-action to encourage members to join the VC and start talking. The repeating text design emphasizes the urgency and frequency of the request, making it perfect for spamming in general chat.

When to use it

  • Encouraging quiet members to join voice chat
  • Spamming friends to start a gaming session
  • Reminding the group about scheduled voice meetings
  • Pestering users who are idling in text
