What does the mewing emoji mean?

When you're trying to reason with someone who is clearly just screaming.

This emoji captures the classic 'The Thinker' pose juxtaposed against a roaring lion, perfectly illustrating the struggle of intellectual debate versus raw, unbridled aggression. It is a staple for Discord servers where users frequently find themselves trying to maintain composure while someone else is throwing a tantrum or spamming the chat.

When to use it

  • Reacting to someone shouting in the chat
  • Showing patience during a heated argument online
  • Expressing confusion at an aggressive user's logic
  • Maintaining calm while others are being dramatic
