What does the whoknows emoji mean?

The ultimate expression of pure, unadulterated indifference.

This 3D-rendered shrug emoji captures the quintessential 'I have no idea' or 'It is what it is' energy that defines modern internet discourse. It is a staple in Discord servers for moments when you are completely checked out, baffled by a situation, or simply don't care enough to formulate a real response.

When to use it

  • Expressing total confusion about a weird topic
  • Admitting you have no clue what happened
  • Showing complete indifference to a pointless argument
  • Signaling that you have given up trying
