The Transhumanist Council community is alerting its members that the arrival of Artificial Super Intelligence (ASI) is anticipated much sooner due to the newly announced Stargate Project. This massive joint venture between OpenAI, Oracle, and Softbank, backed by $500 billion in US administration funding and reduced AI safety oversight, aims to rapidly build AI infrastructure. The Council notes they are closely monitoring these developments to adapt to the early arrival of AGI and ASI.
Not to bring politics but the development of ASI(Artificial Super Intelligence) will be here much quicker than I think most of us anticipated.

The Stargate Project is an American artificial intelligence (AI) company created by OpenAI, SoftBank, Oracle and MGX. The company plans on investing up to $500 billion in AI infrastructure in the United States by 2029. It was announced on January 21, 2025, by the US president Donald Trump. Masayoshi Son will be the company's chairman.
