Like I get what you mean but typically people identify with the more “cultural minority” side of their ethnicity. If someone is half white and half black/mexican/etc, they typically lead with that side versus just say “I’m white”
I’m half Mexican and half white and I always jus say “I’m half Mexican” without even mentioning white
it doesnt necessarily have to be that but the topic does tend to come off as that

I don't see why we still engage in talks about racism unless it's protection against someone facing it
I don’t think it’s racist to acknowledge that all races can be prejudiced against

OP isn’t saying white people are the only ones who experience racism. They’re saying they CAN bc it’s often overlooked

To answer u then, it doesn’t bother me. But I think it’s weird when someone asks my ethnicity and I’d just say “white” when I’m clearly mixed

It’s saying that white people CAN experience it and they are becoming a minority
It’s two separate points, not comparing to other spec races level of their experienced racism
And people automatically assume that if you’re just a minority, then therefore you experience the exact same levels of racism
As other minorities which isn’t true
no one has to directly said the words and im not saying anyone here did, i am simply trying to imply that that is the direction the topic at hand usually takes

Like it’s okay in today’s society for black peope to be racist to whites and nothing happens to them. They can do white face with no consequences or be openly racist
There was a group of black women making fun of Dolly Parton when she died in front of everyone at my work. Saying “they” are going to name street says after her etc, saying a bunch of racist stuff like that

any world view is inheritly an assumption that you choose to believe, you can assume a cookie tastes good. meaning i dont think it is necesarry to try and compare mine to racism in this matter
