I have an exciting announcement regarding the current system that we have in place regarding NSFW content in all channels.
We will be reducing restrictions for some NSFW content server-wide. This includes #💬・𝔾lobal-ᑕhat.
Text-based NSFW content will now be permitted, but there will still be rules in place regarding your own individual conduct. This relaxed system is being brought in due in part to the fact that this is an 18+ server after all, and so the level of maturity that we regard our members in comparison to other servers should allow for some more freedom.
Please note, this lenient system only extends to text-based content. Any NSFW imagery should be directed to the verified channels. This includes photos, emojis, stickers, and gifs.
**We will not be allowing media-based NSFW content in any unverified channel whatsoever. **
Any NSFW conversations directed at members who are overtly uncomfortable will be labelled as harassment, so any members abusing this will be punished as per rule MR-1A. Any issues or reports should be directed to @Beatrix. This is not an opportunity for you to be a creep, and to try to find a sneaky link. The premise of this server still remains as a place to make friends. This is not a dating server. Further to this, if we suspect you to be underage, you will either be muted from interacting with every aspect of the server until you are verified, or will be banned on sight if evidence is provided.
There will be no tolerance when it comes to abusing this system, skirting the rules (and attempting to justify yourself), and finding loopholes. We are making this crystal clear that this system is not to be abused, and any moderators will have final say. The rules will be adjusted accordingly based upon the new system, but the punishments for rule-breaks still stands as such. This announcement will also be edited in future to cover all bases, as clarity is paramount.
That said, we do hope you enjoy this added freedom and you keep it classy. You always know where the moderators are, so please don’t hesitate to make a ticket if you have questions or possess an issue that needs resolving.
