First Look at the Chimera Laboratory
From the depths of Ephen’s corruption, where monsters are born to spread ruin and decay, our mad scientists have chosen a different path.
Within the sealed halls of the Chimera Laboratory, the grotesque is not destroyed, it is repurposed.
The damned are not pitied, they are refined.
From flesh that brought only harm to the world, we carve purpose.
From the ugly, we create something beautiful.
The Chimera Lab is where monstrosity becomes mastery.
As you conquer a region and reach its maximum level threshold (40, 80, 120, and beyond), you will unlock that region’s dedicated subsection of the Chimera Lab.
Each unlocked wing represents deeper knowledge of Ephen’s creatures, and greater control over what they can become.
Once a subsection is unlocked, your Field Hunts will begin yielding 
Chimera Vials.
These vials contain preserved 
Chimera Body Parts, harvested from the very abominations that once stood in your way.
Each part carries latent power, unstable on its own, but potent when combined.
Within the Lab, combine five different Chimera Body Parts to construct a custom monstrosity of your own design.
These creations are not companions, they are experiments.
Completing one permanently enhances you, granting lasting stat bonuses as proof that even the worst horrors of Ephen can be forced to serve a higher purpose.
The Chimera Laboratory is not a place of mercy.
It is a place of results.
