The Insomnia Society community has introduced a new `/report` command for members to quickly notify moderators of rule violations in channels. This command allows anyone with the @The Council role to see the report, enabling faster action against violations. For grievances specifically concerning the mod team, members are instructed to direct message the announcer instead.

Hey - for all of you who are fortunate enough to have made it back to our little corner of the Internet, welcome back!

I wanted to let y'all know that going forward, if you need to report anything to the mods, you can now use the /report command! Please keep three things in mind:

  1. Please use it to report things in a channel when you see rule violations. The quicker, the better, because it'll give us a rough idea of where to start looking for the violation so we can handle it.
  2. Anyone with the @The Council role will see your report.
  3. If you need to file a grievance about a member of the mod team, please DM me directly and I'll take care of it.
