🔧 New Community Management Tools: Invite Endpoints

We've added powerful new endpoints and functionality for managing server invites, perfect for communities that want more granular control over access:
- Target Specific Users: Create invites that can only be accepted by specified users using the target_users_file parameter
- Automatic Role Assignment: Grant roles to members when they accept an invite using the role_ids parameter
- New Management Endpoints: Get, update, and check the status of target users for your invites

These features are ideal for communities running exclusive events, reward programs, or managing access at scale.

🔗 New Social SDK Guide: Account Linking from Discord

We've added a new guide showing how to enable account linking entry points within the Discord client. With Social SDK 1.6+, Discord can now display "Link your account" prompts and buttons throughout the client to encourage players to connect their game accounts, leading to higher linking rates and better social engagement.

I just wanted to come make a quick announcement before 2025 ends saying thanks to everyone who has joined my server in this year and has been able to make it so my streams if they could this year has had lots of ups and downs for me insinde of streaming and all this stuff and irl to 1 memory i wont ever miss in this year 2025 was when me and @OPTIX stream sniped oatley and got into his game. For my 2026 new years resolution I would like to hopefully stream to like 15+ or evan 30+ viewers consistantly every stream i would also like to grow this discord server to make it more active qnd not just dead ( sorry for the yap)! anyways.........

I am verry happy and excited to announce to you guys after A VERY LONG 5 MONTHS that I can do do coins customs! Join on Discord from now on every now and then i will stream coin customs i dont know when i will stream coins customs specifically but i will make sure to let yall know in here #announcements the first coins customs stream i am hoping to do will be on Thursday december 18th or friday december the 19th at 4pm cst i really hope it goes well and we can get some players in the customs! (if you see any problems/glitches in the coins server you can report back to @TWITCH vibezrich for any problem to deal with) here is the server again that i will also put in my twitch !discord command to Join on Discord

i am happy to announce that from now on till christmas morning there will be a chance to get 1 coin in my discord coin server to get that one coin what u will have to do is look through all of the channels yes even the archived ones and voice chat channels and ounce you do that there will be a message saying something everyday at any time then ounce u see the message you will have to reply ( or say the message back) then take a screenshot then go to #🎫︱tickets and send a screen shot then vibezrich will give u a coin but for now write it down in notes as the coin server is still being worked on and if there is 2 winner he will see which ones first BUT if it is at the same time it will just be put on a wheel and then it will be selected but he will screen record it so you know its not rigged good luck! ( Hopyfully we get some people to do this just trying to make this server less non active) PS: From vibezrich: SORRY FOR THE YAP.

and some of you guys may have seen or not seen but i have removed all my mods in twitch and discord except for trusred mods and ones who have hellped me out in the fast from now on in the future if you want mod you need to be active in the discord channels and my streams and maybe invite people if you think the server is to dead (brings you a higher chance to get mod ) in short form i will not be handing out mod anymore if i know you so for now on there will be an announcements here in this channel #announcements for a mod form for about a week then it will close and i will pick the best one(S) out of all of them max will prolly be 3-5 maybe 6-7 (PS. I AM VERY VERRY VERY SORRY ABOUT THE YAP IF U READ IT THIS FAR OR EVEN JUST DIDNT CARE BUT READ THIS PART)

🎮 Social SDK Updates

Discord Social SDK 1.6.12170

We've shipped some exciting updates to the Discord Social SDK in release 1.6.12170.
- Custom Game Invite Banners: You can now provide custom art to display as a banner image in game invites that appear in Discord, making your invites more visually engaging and on-brand.
- Customize Rich Presence Display Names: It's now possible to customize the displayed name for your Application in Discord's Rich Presence, giving you more control over how your game appears to users.

🤖 Bot & API Updates

• Last month we announced new modal components!
• This month: Introducing the File Upload component in Modals
  • Have you ever wanted to collect more than text from a user through a modal? With the new File Upload component you can! You can specify a min and max number of files accepted between 0 and 10, and if uploading files within that limit is required before submitting. Any file types are accepted, and the max file size is based on the user's upload limit in that channel.

🛠️ Libraries and Samples

We've shipped some tool updates to make your development experience smoother:
- We’ve integrated lobbies and invites into the Unity for Social SDK Sample Project. Use them to let players invite their friends both in game and through the Discord client. Download the sample and use it for inspiration in your game!
- discord-interactions.js got a refresh to support new Enums for components and receiving webhook events, making it easier to build bots that respond to Discord interactions and webhook events.

📚 Social SDK Case Studies

• Learn how Mainframe Industries integrated the Discord Social SDK directly into Pax Dei, using Discord's voice and social features to power their in-game communication stack. Read the full case study to see how they did it!
