NPC Combat Change Revert Coming This Week
Join CommunitySummary
The Semuta Cartel (Gaming/ Casino Comunity Hub) announced that they will be reverting undocumented changes made in patch 1.2.20.0 that caused enemy NPCs to frequently dodge attacks. Although this change was intended to make NPCs behave more like players, the team is rolling it back this week because it wasn't enjoyable without accompanying balance adjustments. The developers plan to reintroduce this behavior later alongside other planned combat updates.
Hey everyone,
In patch 1.2.20.0, some undocumented changes were made that adjusted the behavior of the enemy NPCs, causing them to dash out of the way of attacks and abilities much more often. While this is an intended change that aligns with our goal of making enemy NPCs behave more like players who adhere to the same combat engagement rules, we will revert it early this week.
These are some of the exciting combat changes our team is working on, but without other balance adjustments, they might not be as enjoyable for everyone as we’d like. We understand that some of you who enjoyed the new behavior might be disappointed and we can’t wait to bring it back along with the rest of the balance changes we have in store at a later date!
Thanks for all your feedback. Please keep it coming!
