happycactus-77 OP

Osama bin Laden?

happycactus-77 OP

US government killed him

happycactus-77 OP

He was the leader of the group

@happycactus-77 All their money was traced to al qaeda
grandquiver-69

With that, the USA can still be blamed cos of what they did before

@grandquiver-69 With that, the USA can still be blamed cos of what they did before
happycactus-77 OP

Wdym

happycactus-77 OP

What did they do before specifically

@happycactus-77 Wdym
grandquiver-69

The terror group came from another guerilla warfare group that usa previously funded to fight the Soviets

grandquiver-69

Too bad I gotta leave lol

@grandquiver-69 The terror group came from another guerilla warfare group that usa previously funded to fight the S…
happycactus-77 OP

Not Al Qaeda?

happycactus-77 OP

Al Qaeda is separate

happycactus-77 OP

US never directly funded Al Qaeda

@happycactus-77 Not Al Qaeda?
grandquiver-69

Al Qaeda came from the Mujahedeen which formed cos of Afghanistan, I meant it as indirect funding since they were created ltr on

happycactus-77 OP

Ya but that was a separate effort

happycactus-77 OP

Just because the US government funded a different group in afghanistan that existed before doesn’t mean that they are now responsible for all and future terrorist attacks that came out of a different terrorist group much later

happycactus-77 OP

History is full of incidents like that

happycactus-77 OP

Different groups form with different objectives from earlier groups and relationships change

happycactus-77 OP

So that in no shape way or form does that indicate the US was behind 9/11 😭😭

@happycactus-77 Ya but that was a separate effort
grandquiver-69

Their previous actions lead to consequences, not mentioning this as a justification but it circles back around

happycactus-77 OP

That literally makes no sense 😭😭

happycactus-77 OP

So what’s the point of saying it

@happycactus-77 So that in no shape way or form does that indicate the US was behind 9/11 😭😭
grandquiver-69

I said they can be blamed actually

happycactus-77 OP

Ok ya they funded a group in the past and now a new group with different goals and motives wanted to attack the US

happycactus-77 OP

They don’t take the blame for that 😭😭

happycactus-77 OP

How about we blame the

happycactus-77 OP

Actual terrorists

happycactus-77 OP

Who committed the attacks

grandquiver-69

That's already a given, just mentioned how it basically circles back to the US and even their actions afterwards

happycactus-77 OP

Blaming the US for an attack because it once supported an anti-soviet group is crazy considering the US did not create or direct Al Qaeda and bin Laden independently chose to carry out and execute the 9/11 attacks

happycactus-77 OP

That’s like saying you should be blamed for a crime because you once helped someone who later became friends with the person who actually committed it

happycactus-77 OP

It’s like several steps removed from actual responsibility

@happycactus-77 That’s like saying you should be blamed for a crime because you once helped someone who later becam…
grandquiver-69

I get the analogy but it sorta simplifies who they actually helped, and also I mentioned indirectly since it was a cause which ultimately came back to them full circle and it's still possible to blame a side for former indirect actions that lead to what happened

grandquiver-69

As for orchestrating it, maybe not but it's weird that the owner claimed insurance a few months earlier and may have known a few officials

happycactus-77 OP

Saying that the US foreign policy may have had unintended consequences is one thing (which I agree with. History is filled with a bunch of government policies that may have led to other things later on) but that’s not the same as saying they are to blame and should take responsibility
for it

@grandquiver-69 As for orchestrating it, maybe not but it's weird that the owner claimed insurance a few months ear…
happycactus-77 OP

Im pretty sure he didn’t just take the insurance out in the way you’re thinking but he had just leased the building so he was required to take out insurance and terrorist insurance was included in the policy at the time

happycactus-77 OP

This lowk gotta be the funniest thing to imagine 😂😂

happycactus-77 OP

Israel’s top 5 secret agents not being able to contain their excitement after carrying out the biggest attack on US soil in history 🤣🤣 one of the best intelligence agencies in the world but they couldn’t not dance

happycactus-77 OP

“Sorry boss we got caught. We just had to dance”

@happycactus-77 Saying that the US foreign policy may have had unintended consequences is one thing (which I agree…
grandquiver-69

Unintended sure tho like with similar events it's expected that former actions can lead to other events, besides I'm pretty sure they used the attack to justify things afterwards, part of the blame can still be put on them especially with how it worked it's foreign policy

grandquiver-69

There's also much more to it, like the Taliban

@happycactus-77 Im pretty sure he didn’t just take the insurance out in the way you’re thinking but he had just lea…
grandquiver-69

Probably, I'm not big on conspired theories if I haven't looked much into them tho I do get y ppl noticed it since it was exactly seven weeks before the whole thing happened
