Raksha Bandhan is more than just a ritual—it’s a celebration of love, protection, and the deep connection between brothers and sisters. Your task is to capture the spirit of this occasion through your Rakhi design, whether handcrafted or a stunning representation of traditional beauty.
⚙️ Challenge Overview:
Participants have two creative paths:
1. Handcrafted Rakhi Art: Design a Rakhi on sketchbook paper, showcasing your original art and design skills.
2. Traditional Rakhi Photograph: Submit a high-quality photograph of a beautifully crafted, readymade Rakhi that embodies cultural elements like kachha dhaga and traditional motifs.
📏 Judging Criteria:
Entries will be rigorously evaluated based on a comprehensive formula that assesses both artistry and cultural resonance. Points will be awarded in the following categories:
- Creativity: 20 Points – For unique, innovative designs in your sketch or photograph.
- Attention to Detail: 15 Points – Every element, whether drawn or real, must be precise.
- Cultural Authenticity: 15 Points – The Rakhi should reflect the true essence of Raksha Bandhan.
- Overall Appeal: 25 Points – Does your Rakhi (or its representation) captivate and inspire?
- Uniqueness: 15 Points – Originality is key, whether in your art or selection.
- Presentation: 10 Points – The way you present your creation will influence the judges.
Total Possible Points: 100
📝 Submission Process:
- Pay fee: Create ticket to pay
- Handcrafted Art Submissions: Post your Rakhi art in the #art channel.
- Photograph Submissions: Post your Rakhi photographs in the #photography channel.
- Tagging & Event Details: When submitting your entry, select the Event tag, briefly describe your post, include the event name, and ping @mod for acknowledgment.

This is not an easy challenge. Only designs or photos that meet our stringent average point threshold will be eligible for the reward. Submissions that do not meet our standards will not be recognized or rewarded.
