  Scammers DM you posing as "Discord Support" or hacked friends, claiming your account is flagged for fraud/violations & will be banned/deleted imminently. They panic you with urgent threats like "Act now or lose everything!"

They instruct emailing fake support (e.g., [email protected]) to "appeal," or changing your email to theirs for "protection." Often, they send phishing links, QR codes, or "game tests" that steal login tokens/credentials.

Once hijacked, they alter password/email, disable 2FA (using backups), log you out everywhere, & use your account to spam friends, join scam servers, steal payments, or destroy communities.

Gains: Sell rare accounts (badges/Nitro), spread malware, impersonate for more scams, or access private data.

Tips: Official Discord NEVER DMs—SYSTEM tags only. Enable 2FA, ignore unsolicited links/QR, scan devices for malware, report via dis.gd/report. Verify via official site!
