Apology & Update Regarding the VC Generator

  We want to sincerely apologize for the recent issues with the private VC generator.

As many of you know, we had moved the private VC generator to the public category for everyone’s comfort and easier access. However, this created a serious security concern. Since the bot has permission to create and delete channels, our security system flagged it as a potential threat because it could technically delete any public channels (including ones with years of memories and chats).

Even after whitelisting the bot, our security system continued to detect it as a risk. Once it hit the threshold, the VC generator was automatically quarantined, which caused it to stop working for a while.

We take full responsibility for this downtime and any inconvenience it may have caused. We’re truly sorry for the disruption.

What We’ve Done:

• We have moved the VC generator back to the Premium category for better security.
• It will now continue to work as it did before.
• The only change is that newly generated private VCs will now appear at the bottom of the server’s channel list (instead of the top).

We know this makes it a little harder to find your private VC right away, and we understand it’s not ideal. Unfortunately, this was the only way we could keep the feature safe and running without risking the entire server’s channels.

We hope you can understand and cooperate with us on this. Your safety and the protection of our community’s long-term memories and chats are our top priority.
