there have been an influx of accounts compromised and mass spamming servers and DM’ing everyone on their friends list to join a specific server that will try to get you to “verify” your age via a site that looks like discord. this is a phishing attempt to get your discord login credentials. lots of people are falling for them (the current worst one invites you to "check out this girl on cam").
if you get a random invite from someone -- EVEN IF YOU HAVE INTERACTED WITH THEM BEFORE -- do not join the server until they positively confirm they intended to send you the invite - if you hear nothing from them, there's a good chance they've been compromised.
if you clicked on this invite or any like it, go to settings > devices and click the button that says "log out of all devices", which should invalidate the stolen sessions token.
you can also go to settings and permissions and manually delete all the ones you did not allow. we recommend you change your password as well. If you get a DM that is inviting you to a server please report it to the mods via #🆘︱speak-to-a-mod
