i cannot stress this enough: the future of this server on discord is not looking good.
with the rollout of new age verification features, we've reached a crossroads. my moderation team and i value online anonymity and security above all else. because of this, we have all decided we will absolutely not be verifying.

we will try to see if we can get around verification somehow, but ultimately, on the eve of the march updates, the server will be put into a skeleton mode where all the channels will be privated except for a select few.

i have run this server since 2023, and i have made so many friends and memories along the way. discord has been wonderful and helped me embrace my hypersexuality and sex positive nature while giving my creativity a home i want to thank each and every one of you who have made this place an escape for me, and i hope it has offered the same sanctuary!

recent rollouts of these features in the UK and Australia have already resulted in leaks, linking sensitive identification data directly to usernames. in a space like ours, where we celebrate our freakiness without judgment, the risk of having your real world identity linked to your NSFW activity is a risk we aren't willing to take.

i know data leaks feel common these days, but this is different. giving easy access to your sensitive data increases the risk of blackmail, scams, and real-world impacts on your offline life. we want to keep this a secret garden of delights, and Discord is making that impossible.

we are working incredibly hard to make the move to Stoat a reality. we highly suggest once our Stoat server goes live, you join us there!

Stoat is dedicated to protecting spaces just like ours. it may not have all the Discord bells and whistles yet, but it's growing fast. they are currently run by volunteers and donations, with plans for their own nitro-style features soon.
