Lunar Lounge Server Shutting Down

Hi guys…

This is honestly one of the hardest things I’ve had to type.

After a lot of thinking (and a lot of late nights), we’ve decided that the server will be shutting down… starting tomorrow night.
It’s no one’s fault. Not yours, not the staff’s. It’s just… keeping this place running has been exhausting. The team is tired. I’m tired. And sometimes the thing you love the most is too much to handle. I keep thinking back to when this all started. 2021. I was literally just a 13-year-old kid messing around, trying to make something where people could hang out and feel like they belong. I didn’t expect any of this.

But then you all showed up…

We had chaos. Actual chaos.
My favourite parts were the Smule duet collab events. Some were eh, some actually went hard, but that was kinda the fun of it. Another thing I will miss was when the chat was moving so fast you couldn’t even read it half the time. Random people joining and leaving right away like they weren’t suspicious at all. Even the haters… yeah, somehow we’re gonna miss you too (relax, not that much).

And through all of that… we built something real. Not perfect, not polished, just people showing up every day, talking, messing around, sometimes arguing, then acting like nothing happened the next day. We had ups, we had downs, and moments where it felt like everything was about to fall apart… but somehow it never fully did.

…until now.

And yeah, it hurts. It actually does. Because this server isn’t just a server. It’s memories. It’s people. It’s that one place you could open at 2am and there’d still be someone there. So even if this is the end… those memories don’t go anywhere. They’re staying. Forever.
