Wisterwild Lag Fixes: Floating Items & Abyss Rules

The Wisterwild community has issued an announcement addressing significant lag issues caused by player behavior. Specifically, players are strictly warned against leaving floating items on the map, as these generate substantial lag. Furthermore, the announcement clarifies that the in-game "abyss" feature is intended only for retrieving genuinely trapped loot, not for general item disposal or trading, to maintain smooth performance for all players.
Good evening my fantastic Wisterwildlings!!
I have been scoping out a few trouble areas around the map to see where we can reel in some laggy behaviors and at least from today here's what I saw:
- floating items
- please please do not leave floating items!! they will create loads of lag!

some items have a really fast despawn rate to help with them sitting, but that doesn't mean we should just let them all sit and despawn

abyss
- there were just several pages of items retrieved from the abyss. New pages cannot be created so that means we had that many floating items picked up
- the abyss isn't a disposal it's to help pull trapped loot we can't get to up off the floating item list
- the abyss also isn't necessarily a trading ground and can generate lag when we're loading it, moving items around, filling it after its pulled everything, and more. Please use the appropriate channels for trade (ie market, post office, face to face combat, etc)
Again I thank everyone for your support and keen eyes on what's going on!! It takes all of us together to keep everything smooth for one another. We want the map to be playable for all devices so it means a lot when we can all pitch in and make things better 🫂💜
