The Wisterwild community has officially opened its in-game Market, allowing players to earn and spend in-game currency by selling items through chest shops or claiming a dedicated market stall. To participate, players must purchase a non-refundable Shop License for $3000 and adhere to rules regarding shop limits, inactivity, and fair pricing. This new feature introduces a structured economy within Wisterwild, with future subscriber perks planned to enhance selling capabilities.
The long-awaited Wisterwild Market is officially open 🥂🍾
The market provides everyone a chance to earn (and spend!) in-game currency in exchange for in-game items. Attached you can find a map of the market as well as an instructional video on how to sell something.
We have a few guidelines in place to keep the market lag free as well as profitable and enjoyable for everyone:
- Each player is allowed to have 5 chest shops and may claim 1 market stall.
- To get started, you need to purchase a Shop License from the NPC at the market. Current license fee is $3000. All fees are non-refundable.
📜 Display your Shop License at your stall as proof of your permission to sell.
- This system keeps the market fair and balanced, making sure no one player can take over too much space or dominate the market.
- Just like real-world stores can lose their license if they don’t meet standards, we reserve the right to revoke shop licenses if stalls are inactive, out of stock for too long, or breaking market rules.
- Please check other shops and what they are selling when you open up a shop. Undercutting is not allowed. Try to sell different items to keep the market varied and fun.
- If you leave Discord, your shop (and all items in your shop chests) will be cleared.
- If your shop remains out of stock for more than 2 weeks, your Shop License may be revoked and your stall cleared.
🪧 To create a market chest:
- Place a container (chest, double chest, or barrel).
- Place a sign on the container (any sign except hanging signs).
- Type CREATESHOP.
- With the item you want to sell in your main hand, interact with the sign and set your price per item.
- To edit or delete the chest shop, break the sign and a form will pop up.
🛒 To claim a market stall:
- Purchase your Shop License from the NPC at spawn (coordinates in the picture attached)
- Put your name on an unclaimed stall sign to reserve your plot and post your shop license somewhere visible.
- You may build whatever you want inside your stall boundaries, but your shop must stay lag-friendly.
