Wisterwild: No More Seasonal Wipes!

The Wisterwild community has announced a major change: they will no longer be wiping player builds at the end of each season due to a new plugin setup being tested. This means player structures will be permanently saved, though there will be an upfront in-game cost and ongoing taxes for land claims. While seasons will continue, their focus will shift from map resets to different seasonal goals.

After much consideration, review and research in finding the optimal plugin setup, it has been determined we will no longer be wiping builds at the end of the season ๐
I still need to finish testing but I've found a setup that will automatically regenerate the wilderness and abandoned claims. If the setup doesn't work or causes any lag then I'll do manual land claims and chunk resetting the same way I've always done (not as easy but saves builds just fine).
Once I've tested and figured out all the ins and outs, I'll open up FAQ's for how to claim your areas. Note that there will be an up front in game cost determined by size as well as regular taxes to maintain active claims, pricing to be determined soon.
In the meantime, know that your builds are safe unless you leave Discord.
We will still have seasons but will have different goals/plans for those instead of a map reset.
