Wisterwild Server Lag Due to AWS Outage
Summary
The Wisterwild community is experiencing significant server lag and disconnects, which the administrator suspects is due to a widespread AWS outage. The admin confirms they are monitoring the situation and can still perform necessary server reboots despite struggling to access most websites themselves. Players are asked to remain patient as this level of performance issues is highly unusual for Wisterwild and points to a major external problem.
It does in fact look like our lag/disconnects may be related to the AWS outages. I'll continue to monitor on the back end. I'm struggling to connect to most websites and I can't stay connected in game for more than a minute at a time, but I can run reboots of the server if necessary in the meantime. Thank you for staying patient, as some of you noted lag is exceedingly rare for us so if it pops up there's very likely something major happening like this.
