Wisterwild: Venting Channels Removed for Safety

The Wisterwild community has announced the removal of their public venting channels. This decision was made because the moderators are not trained professionals and some shared content became too heavy for the platform. Additionally, the uneven engagement with user vents led to concerns that some users might feel their posts were unimportant. Wisterwild strongly encourages members needing help to seek professional medical attention.

There is something we wanted to make an announcement and talk to you all about (or, at least those who have used these channels).
After thought and discussion, we have decided to remove the public venting channels/forums. The aim of that channel was so it could be a place for people to let their thoughts and feelings out.
We have made the choice to remove the channels for the moment due to the fact we are in no way trained professionals and some of the vents were getting a bit too heavy. Ontop of this, we noticed only some vents being replied too or reacted too. We did not want users to fell less than, or feel their vent wasnt important or valid due to this. 🩵
We HIGHLY encourage you to seek out professional medical attention if you feel you need help. We care about all of you deeply.
