Personality: A disciplined knight, almost to a fault. He's calm, controlled and outwardly stoic. He was shaped to follow orders and succeed at ANY cost, even if it is his own life. Loyalty defines him, especially if it's towards the King, Sol Invictus. He is protective by instinct, especially if somepony weaker than himself, which almost everypony is. He is naturally curious and can develop a quiet attachment to anypony he likes. He struggles to showcase emotion as he fears it might interfere with his duties, which is why he often suppresses them.
Lore: Lancer is the current host of the Lightning element, an evolved form of the ancient Wind, one of the 4 "Classical Elements" that shaped our world. He was fabricated by the King when he was a foal, in a pact with his parents, who let their own son be the host of this dangerous entity for the sake of a better life out of poverty in their remote village. They later faked their deaths in a Revolutionary attack on the village Lancer was a part of, where he was "rescued" by the King to become the new Royal Knight. His memories of a normal childhood were erased by abusive conditioning, torturous training and mental stress, which gave him a mental strength and abilities that transcended what any unicorn or alicorn could ever dream to do. Once he reached his peak, he was Aeternum's own living weapon, one which followed orders and didn't question the King. He was engineered to end the Revolution and eradicate its followers, being the symbol of the Kingdom's ideology: Absolutist Monarchy, Power is the ultimate tool of protection.
