I have 4 important things to talk about, please read them all.

1. The New Levelling System

The moment we've all been waiting for!

Changes:

• All levelling progress has been reset, although also saved.
• XP has been scaled down by a factor of 10.
• We are now using for our levelling system.

Overview:

• Randomly earn 10-20 XP per message.
• Cooldown has been reduced to encourage conversation.
• Certain channels have XP bonuses.
• Mods can award XP at their discretion for things which support the server.
• Streaks can earn additional XP by being continuously active.
• Everyone decays by 10 XP every day.
• XP drops will randomly take place, awarding variable amounts of XP. (currently set to 1 for testing)

Don't forget that we have other rewards systems like /quests which can win cool prizes!
(There are certain things which still need cleaning up but functionally, it works.)

2. My Absence

I will be away from 14th to 20th July. All enquiries should be redirected to , or , or wait for my return. Always ping or in an emergency (eg raid).

3. New Ping Roles

We've added several more ping roles recently so you never miss anything, please review them in .

4. Changes In Guild Management

We're looking into redoing the way we run the guild to be more efficient and reliable. (Think back to all the GM bans.) This will nearly certainly mean that the guild will be reduced to just and , since 6 sub-guilds is overkill. We will also look into other ways with guild growth, such as continuing Rocks Lines and partnerships.
