Summary
AttentionHub, nearing 300 members, is opening moderator applications to find trusted, reliable staff. The announcement lists requirements: 18+ (with limited exceptions), six months Discord experience, at least two hours weekly availability, B2 English, conflict management skills, and rule familiarity. I need someone who I can trust, reliable, real and ready. If you care and like this place, read on.
Moderator applications are open.
Requirements:
1. 18+
Exceptions may be made for candidates who demonstrate exceptional maturity, competence and experience — but will have restricted access to certain server categories.
2. Basic familiarity with discord.
At least 6 months of active Discord usage. Familiarity with muting, banning, basic bot commands.
3. Minimum 2 hours of free time dedicated.
You should come in, maybe chat, lurk if you want, and just look after the chats and act accordingly when something bad happens/someone breaks a rule.
You aren't required to be 24/7 active.
4. Good English obviously. B2 minimum.
5. Must be able to handle conflict without taking sides or acting emotionally.
And even if you do, at least have the willingness to apologize and learn from your mistakes. Growth mindset is appreciated.
Must be able to keep server matters private.
6. Read the rules thoroughly.
You aren't required to know every rule word by word. Just read them. ( #the-impossible )
Preferable:
1. Active server member.
You know the culture, and you are here for a while.
2. Calm under pressure and doesn't get confused easily.
