Tusky Shutdown: Important Walrus Data Update

Tusky Update: Important Information for Users 🦭

Tusky, one of the leading publishers on Walrus, is closing its doors. Here's what you need to know before January 19, 2026.

Your Data Remains on Walrus

That's how we built it. However, accessibility through your Tusky account, API and SDK will only be available until January 19, 2026. After that date, you'll need to use your private Walrus keys to access your data.

⚠️ Important for E2E Encryption Users
For Tusky users who use Tusky's built-in end-to-end encryption, access will no longer be available after January 19, 2026.

🚨 Step-by-Step Guide

Alternative Publishers

Looking to avoid managing your own private keys, or need a new encryption solution? The Walrus ecosystem has several options:
- @ZarkLab - A collaborative AI workspace
- @nami_hq - A decentralized cloud platform
- @pawtatofinance - A DeFi dapp aggregator and wallet manager

Thank You, Tusky

Huge thanks to the Tusky team, founded with the mission of empowering true data ownership. As early believers in Walrus, they helped prove that decentralized storage can support real products and users at scale.

We're proud of the work we did together as technical partners 🦭
