EXECUTIVE ORDER

No. 001 – Strengthening National Infrastructure, Economic Growth, and Government Efficiency

By the authority vested in me as President of the United States, and in order to promote economic stability, modernize national infrastructure, and improve the efficiency of federal operations, it is hereby ordered as follows:

SECTION 1. PURPOSE

The Bradford Administration is committed to restoring confidence in the federal government, strengthening the nation’s infrastructure, and ensuring long-term economic growth. This Executive Order establishes a coordinated national initiative to improve transportation systems, streamline federal operations, and create new economic opportunities for the American people.

SECTION 2. NATIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE INITIATIVE

(a) All relevant federal agencies shall immediately begin coordination on a nationwide infrastructure modernization plan.
(b) Priority shall be given to:
- Repairing and expanding highways, bridges, and major transportation routes
- Modernizing public transit systems
- Investing in smart infrastructure and emerging technologies

(c) Within 60 days, the Department of Transportation shall present a comprehensive report outlining current deficiencies and proposed solutions.

SECTION 3. ECONOMIC GROWTH AND JOB CREATION

(a) The Administration shall promote policies that encourage domestic investment and job creation.
(b) Federal agencies shall identify opportunities to partner with private sector entities to accelerate economic development.
(c) A target of creating 500,000 new infrastructure-related jobs over the next four years is hereby established.

SECTION 4. GOVERNMENT EFFICIENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY

(a) All executive departments shall conduct an internal review of operations to identify inefficiencies and unnecessary spending.
(b) Agencies shall submit plans within 90 days to:
- Reduce bureaucratic delays
- Improve service delivery to the public
- Increase transparency in federal spending

(c) A centralized oversight task force shall be established within the Executive Office of the President to monitor progress.

SECTION 5. INTERAGENCY COORDINATION

(a) The heads of all relevant agencies shall work collaboratively to ensure the effective implementation of this order.
(b) Regular progress reports shall be submitted to the President on a quarterly basis.

SECTION 6. GENERAL PROVISIONS

(a) Nothing in this order shall be construed to impair or otherwise affect the authority granted by law to executive departments or agencies.
(b) This order shall be implemented consistent with applicable law and subject to the availability of appropriations.

SECTION 7. EFFECTIVE DATE

This Executive Order shall take effect immediately upon signature.
