# It's been a heck of a year... 🥂
I know it isn't New Years yet, and I haven't even been here for a whole year, but I wanted to thank each and every one of you for the incredible welcome I had just a short while ago and look back on this year in AdVenture Capitalist!
We've seen some really big updates, from new events and destinations, to mini-games and more - and 2026 is looking to be one heck of a year as well! I'm beyond excited to be with you all as Cap continues to grow and change.
I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday weekend, and that you all have a blast ringing in 2026 🫡
