I have an exciting announcement regarding the current system that we have in place regarding NSFW content in all channels.

We will be reducing restrictions for some NSFW content server-wide. This includes #💬・𝔾lobal-ᑕhat.

Text-based NSFW content will now be permitted, but there will still be rules in place regarding your own individual conduct. This relaxed system is being brought in due in part to the fact that this is an 18+ server after all, and so the level of maturity that we regard our members in comparison to other servers should allow for some more freedom.

Please note, this lenient system only extends to text-based content. Any NSFW imagery should be directed to the verified channels. This includes photos, emojis, stickers, and gifs.

**We will not be allowing media-based NSFW content in any unverified channel whatsoever. **

Any NSFW conversations directed at members who are overtly uncomfortable will be labelled as harassment, so any members abusing this will be punished as per rule MR-1A. Any issues or reports should be directed to @Beatrix. This is not an opportunity for you to be a creep, and to try to find a sneaky link. The premise of this server still remains as a place to make friends. This is not a dating server. Further to this, if we suspect you to be underage, you will either be muted from interacting with every aspect of the server until you are verified, or will be banned on sight if evidence is provided.

There will be no tolerance when it comes to abusing this system, skirting the rules (and attempting to justify yourself), and finding loopholes. We are making this crystal clear that this system is not to be abused, and any moderators will have final say. The rules will be adjusted accordingly based upon the new system, but the punishments for rule-breaks still stands as such. This announcement will also be edited in future to cover all bases, as clarity is paramount.

That said, we do hope you enjoy this added freedom and you keep it classy. You always know where the moderators are, so please don’t hesitate to make a ticket if you have questions or possess an issue that needs resolving.

I am currently on the look-out for staff members to support the server. Right now we are in need of the following:

• Game Manager: 1-2 minecraft builders/experienced minecraft players with a firm grasp of the mechanics of the game, to support our Minecraft server.
• Trial Moderators: 1 member capable of retaining the server channels as a safe space for others, whilst supporting the server in providing their expertise to help others with any issues they may have. We currently have a preference for those outside the US in other time-zones.
• Welcomers: 2 members to support newbies in acclimating to the server, in supporting with roles, and to show them around (including any queries they may have).
• Event Management: 1 member to support in creating events for others. Currently, we are established with Movie Nights, and Podcasts, but would love to see more variation to bring everyone together.
• Promoters: 1 member capable of marketing the server to bring in lovely new members for us to all hug and hold.

Hello everyone we heard you loud and clear in your recent feedback to the last server change we had. My heart was in the right place when i was doing the server change, but if people do not like such a thing. Ill try to adjust & accommodate to those who are looking for something they can enjoy and feel comfortable in Adultcord.

I have decided to change and reorganize some channels around, recognizeable channels have returned like the week prior to the drastic change. Channels such as #💬・𝔾lobal-ᑕhat and #🔞・𝕄ain-ᑕhat

I would also be aware i added a new channel called #💌・𝕄emories where you can post your Adultcord memory/experience. I would love to see yall use it, i know many of you have a lot of good memories here.... especially meeting in real life ❗ 😄

Hello everyone, this is a server-wide announcement to new changes for Adultcord, we have now drastically changed the way you will interact in the server with much better ease and simplicity - You will now have the ability to chat with people who you relate to by selecting Chat-Rooms you want to opt into.

This is a change that was forthcoming to fit people's interest & compatibility more and equalizing the line of interaction with one another within a channel which is now a thread that you can opt into. So id like to thank Discord for continuing to innovate their platform as this was in mind for a while to help the community strive better with who we want to interact and make friends with. This is going to drastically help everyone create conversation in its own personal space without cluttering the chat. I hope you like this change as much as i do ❗😄
