To be honest, it makes sense it's human instinct ofc it would be older then religion but we don't need religion to know how bad gay marriage is for anyone for example it could get you medical and health risks and it can get you psychological and behavioral Impacts like mood and anxiety disorders substance abuse and much much more all bc you wanted what you call love when it's actually your human se#ual behavior it's not healthy for you and it won't benefit you and ppl still do it

It's a stupid question to ask so the thing is humans were created with only two genders and now we have like....100? Even before all civilization some male humans did the thing, so we can't say it's a new modern thingy. Second thing is that as humans solve their problems they look for new problems. Basic problems are fixed "mostly" in European Countries so now this....LGBTQ thing started to pop up as humans's RIGHT to have their own gender. But in contries like Iran or India Or China or Iraq these LGBTQ things are less likely to be seen. I'm sure if this LGBTQ problem gets solved in future, humankind will find another problem to find and try to solve it.
Look into other Societies and then ask. Look at iran look at Palestine look at Countries who actually are the global news
