Zodian Empire VRChat Stream Updates & October Plans

Exhausted, lack of sleep, stayed up late and a lot of work.

..Just to name a few things I've done:

  • Got my mic fixed, so much better sound again!
  • We switched over to YouTube instead of Spotify for music requests so there will be LOT more music available!(No more issues of music unavailable on Spotify)
  • TONS of new great aesthetically pleasing maps to stream on!
  • Several new GYAAT VRC avatars!
  • New and improved music widget player with instant refresh rate when a new song gets played.
  • Several little backend issues fixed
  • Quality of life improvements for myself making it a little faster to prep for stream!
  • more

Stream skipped today, I will let you know if if there's any streams this week, if not I'm DETERMINED to make October a great streaming month and stream at least double the amount of hours(If I can get at least 60-80 hours I'd be happy!).

@Announcement-Ping

I need a break from DBD for at least a week or two, when you've been playing it for the past 8 years and over 9K+ hours, it's going to get to you. I'll see how I feel for tomorrow DBD stream, but do expect that will be skipped too. Been considering buying Halloween just for something refreshing maybe.

VRChat Community Adds Stronger Discord Bot Protection

Improved server security update for bot prevention

Bots and GFX scam artists are very annoying and they're rampant on Discord, many servers with a sizable member count experiences this same issue.
We've made changes to prevent bots and GFX scam artists(this will stop at least +40% more of them, but not all entirely).

  • Server verification level set to high, members can't send messages for at least 10 minutes, whilst this won't stop sending DM's, it's a good thing to have anyways.
  • NEW members.. must have their account ABOVE 30 days old to be able to access! A great amount of bots / scam artists make new accounts often so this will be very beneficial keeping at least +40% more bots out of the server in addition to all of our other server protection in place, captchas and detection software with the use of our bots(MEE6, dyno, wick). There's no concern this will affect legit individuals as 95%+ have a much older account age, the trade off is worth it for how much these GFX scam artists and bots affects members enjoyment and safety.
