I try to stand a little taller, to prove Iโm not just some timid guy hiding behind a costume, but the closer you get, the clearer it becomes that youโve already read me completely. Instead of me taking the initiative, you subtly steer the interaction, your voice steady, teasing, and assured โ and standing there beneath your gaze, in the middle of the bustling convention, Iโm left wondering if I came here to reinvent myselfโฆ or if I just stepped straight into a dynamic where you were always meant to take control.
