OctaWeb Security Update: Discord Login Removed

Due to recent events involving a friend’s acquaintance’s discord account being hacked, we’re implementing some further security measures effective immediately.
What changes are being made?
Any Support Messages sent to OctaWeb Staff over Discord will be ignored.
Please seek support via official channels - e.g. our Help Guides, Live Chat or Telephone.
We’re removing Discord Login/Signup functionality on the Client Portal from 15/04/2025 from 6PM.
We ask that all customers currently using Discord to login to their accounts to confirm which email address they’re using. If you do not know your password, request a password reset for your next login.
Removing Discord Notifications:
Right now, clients receive a discord message from our Client Portal bot with any account updates, invoices etc. Again, from 15/04/2025, this bot will be taken offline and you will no longer receive these notifications. We recommend ensuring you have access to your email as any future notifications will be sent through this method.
Two Factor Authentication:
Going forward, two-factor authentication will be mandatory for your client portal account. Please set this up as soon as possible. Require support with this? Let us know.
These changes ensure complete security on your online account.
