(1) We've managed to catch a few bugs this week. If you are having issues with Spark from before, feel free to kick him out and invite him again. Do not uncheck any of the permission that we ask for since we need all of them to make it work.

(2) A lot of you have asked for changing profile, and name of the bot. This is something that is going to be something that we work on very soon.

(3) We are also going to start working on infinite length doc in the next week, finally!

Hi we are going to push out a "one-click help bottom" where if you face any issues with the setup, you click and we will ask for the issues and also automatically collect all the necessary info to speed up the help process. Major updates from us:

(1) We have officially integrated our Spark with Langchaine. Not much have changed on the front end, but given the number of features growing on Langchaine, we feel that maybe it's time for us to stop managing all the chains ourselves and jump on the wagon.

(2) We have pushed out a couple more bug fix and another UI change should come tomorrow.

(3) In the next week, we will work on infinitive-length document support. We will add it as a premium feature but grandfather it in for some times of our existing early Spark users!

Finally, we've given this a lot of thoughts, We are merging two of our servers into one, SO..

The main reason is that it is very hard to manage 3 servers (developer, community managers/mods and questGPT). We decide to merge the communityone server with our marketplace server. It will have the same content, similar purpose and we are moving our events back to the old community marketplace server as well!

hey guys! Apologize for the late announcement. Here are some of our latest update:

(1) We just came back from 3XP in LA. It was really great. A ton of web3 gaming communities and we also got our first booth.

(2) Improve UI: We have released one more iteration of Spark last night, but we have set the goal to make the onboarding process easy and intuitive, so now we are iterating more. Hopefully we will be push out another version for our UI.

(3) More file format: In terms of feature updates, we are working on moving our techstack fully to langchain given the latest developments, this means that soon we wll start support various format of document input.

(4) Live feedback: We are looking for projects who want to install Spark. If you know any such community managers, love to hop on a call and see them doing the setup LIVE so that we can improve our UI!

(5) We are gonna make some changes on our server to encourage more activities, especially support from fellow community managers and project founders. We wanna start focus on software development to bring in the latest AI, so gonna need all of you to help out with support. More detaisl to come

Great News! We have officially pushed out v2.1 of Spark. New features:

(1) A new UI so that you can try out our data analytics in a self-serving style. Analytics is very important because we believe each community should be data-driven. In the future, we will provide you with more data specifically related to QuestGPT and Spark. For those who signed up for their dashboard, please DM me to get a free training session where me or our community manager will go over the dashboard with you together. We know the dashboard has a lot of data and it is super easy once you have an initial guidance on how to read it. (2) For the next two weeks we are going to work on QuestGPT. We are going to a game showing in Los Angeles and want to push on a new version of the product out before the event. This round of sprint should last about two weeks. After we finish working on quest GPT, we will continue to work on analytics.

New UI change

Bard is a very interesting development from Google. We are looking into Bard more to see if we want to integrate Bard or continue to use OpenAI for Spark. Onf of the giggest difference between Bard vs GPT is that Bard has an internet connection. This means that Bard knows a lot more, and his knowledge base continues to grow. However, having access to uncleaned data means Bard has a far worse hallucination problem, stemming from the intrinsic model issue and being fed mixed information from various sources. Even worse, it is hard to control hallucination vs GPT.

Anyway, we are definitively looking more into it. We are excited about the new development and continue experimenting with new AI tech stacks.

Our next sprint is likely to be a new iteration of our analytics. As a community management company, we want to make all the cool tech to help you build stronger communities. This means that we care about the performance data. We can only optimize and improve with data.

After sprint on analytics, we are likely to work on supporting unlimited documentation, along with gitbook integration for Spark. That's probably a couple weeks out.

We are excited about our new Spark. It is finally here. First, wanna give a shoutout to our CTO [DISCORD_USERNAME] and our engineers [DISCORD_USERNAME] cuz they work hard. This is a major product for us as we have intergrated some of our products and our backend in one place.

Here are the major features and updates:

(1) The biggest change is re-name and re-org. The bot that you will install is called "Communityone". Right now, you can manually install Spark. We will push all new apps including the upcoming QuestGPT into communityone bot. You will only need to install our bot once and opt-in to new additional applications.

(2) UI: Rather than calling a command line, we have implemented a new menu where you can click and install.

(3) Spark: We are allowing you to submit document and testing it within the setup the channels. When you are ready, you can push the official documentations to production level.

(4) While we haven't let you setup the analytical dashboard by yourself, we have intergrated the analytics into communityone. We will start working with you to phase out the analytical bots and also open up analytics for all spark users automatically. We should setup the new menu interface for analytics soon.

(5) We will start supporting Gitbook a bit later as we intergrate with a couple more techstacks and bring in the feature of unlimited doc along as well.

We are going to host a regular bi-monthly discord stage if you are interested in join. Our main topic is going to be about our substack blog. We will talk about tips and tricks on community management. Many of the insights will be fresh and live. (We are experimenting the same way as you guys are!)

Why we are doing this?

(1) We've been doing regular townhalls for almost a year for our mods, we want to stay connected with all of our stakeholders now that we also have product users.
(2) Spark will continue to be free. I know some of the smaller projects are short on budget and can't really engage with us on analytics (1-1) basis. We hope that you continue to build just like we are and our blogs/advice could give you new ideas on how to most efficiently manage your community (for free now, maybe use our paid products later!)

(1) We are getting ready to intergrate with Collab.Land for Spark. We have added some extra functions in the past couple days to allow members to test the doc first before publishing it to the general members. We will push this feature to our spark soon.

(3) We are close to intergrating Spark with our data analytics so that you can update and further optimize Spark based on user engagements.

We wanna to work on cooler features such as unlimited doc support, but this sprint will focus more on intergrating our Spark with our analytics (https://communityone.io/analytics).. The reason is that we are super curious to see what the engagement rate looks like because of Spark on your server. We see it from smaller servers that the first couple weeks are usually fairly active.

With analytics, we want to help you make informed decisions on two actions:

(1) When to update and change the document so that you can continue to keep community engaged.
(2) New users chatting because of Spark. These are the users that you should have your core team to greet personally. A human connection in the age of AI is so much more valuable.

Ultimately, Spark is an engagement tool.
