Moderation Feedback: Channel Multilingual Image Filters

Hey CommunityOne team,

I have a few suggestions based on my experience using the bot so far:

  1. Channel Whitelist/Blacklist: It would be really helpful to have a setting that restricts which channels the bot can talk in. Right now, because it needs Admin permissions to moderate effectively, it bypasses channel overrides and posts in places like our main general chat. I tried using Discord's native AutoMod to block the bot's tags in specific rooms, but if a member replies to a timeout message the bot sent, it bypasses the AutoMod filter and opens up public interaction in the wrong channel. A dashboard setting to lock it to specific channels would fix this.

  2. Multilingual Context: It would be great if the "Asking for DMs" and scam filters could detect non-English context (like Hebrew or Spanish). Many servers aren't English-based, and bad actors often use localized phrasing to invite members to their DMs or pitch money schemes to avoid standard word filters.

  3. Gore & Disturbing Images: Alongside the NSFW image detection, adding a filter for gore, graphic violence, or disturbing content would be a huge help. This is usually the main issue during server raids, and having the AI automatically delete those images instantly would save mods a lot of trouble.

Thanks!

Request Extra Agent Slot for Staff Use

Hey CommunityOne team,

Just wanted to reach out and say we are absolutely loving the bot and using it like crazy in our server. It’s been a massive help for our community so far.

Since we’re expanding, I wanted to ask if there’s any way we could get one extra Agent slot (Brain) unlocked for our server? We’ve already maxed out both of our available ones for the public chat, but we really want to set up a 3rd one as a dedicated assistant strictly for our staff and moderators to use internally behind the scenes.

Since we are a non-commercial, community-driven server, we don't really have a budget for premium upgrades right now. We'd be incredibly grateful if you could open up this extra slot for us as a favor .

Let me know if that’s possible. Thanks again for the great tools!

Apply for Free Moderator AI Feature

Hi CommunityOne Team,

Regarding the announcement, I would like to apply for a free AI management feature for my community.

This is a well-established, non-commercial server focused on content creation and gaming. We are currently dealing with a lot of automated spam and private message scammers, so this tool would be really helpful.

Links are not allowed here so I would be happy to answer and show you the server I run

Thanks for supporting communities like ours!
- # I hope I wrote in the right place.

Protect Your Server From Crypto Scams

Automatically detect and delete crypto scam content before your members can fall for it. Built for Discord servers that need zero-hassle protection against evolving scams.

The bot continuously monitors chat in real-time for:

Scam images — catches and removes fake investment ticket screenshots and proof images
Suspicious links — cross-references against known malware, phishing, and scam domain databases, following shortlink redirects before deciding
Disposable / young domains — flags and removes links and image-linked domains newer than a configurable age threshold
Invite link control — optionally block all Discord server invites (with permission bypass for mods)
Link whitelist — allow specific trusted domains like YouTube while removing everything else
Per-server and per-user language settings let the bot reply in whichever language fits your community.

Completely free, easy to set up, and actively maintained — new scam patterns are added as they appear.

Forum Tags Switch Agents for Spark AI?

is it possible for spark Ai to read a forum tag and respond with a diffrent agent in the same forum?

example
tag 1: Model that has dataset 1
tag 2: Model that has dataset 2

User selects tag 1, but asks a question not available in dataset 1.
Rule response, "Please use tag 2 for questions regarding dataset 2"

Server Partnerships for Community Growth

Does your server partner with other discord servers or any external groups like reddit or youtube? If so, what are your requirements and what the benefits do you offer?

For example, in one of the servers I admin:
- # Requirements: membership of a similar size, no nsfw and preferably a related theme
- # Benefits: Sharing each others server invites/external links, publishing each others events and running shared events or promotions

For growth, Ive found it useful to partner with other discord servers for events or with related subreddits that do not have their own servers, but Ive struggled to find youtube creators or streamers. ..

Quality Culture vs Engagement in Community Events

As the title suggests building a culture of quality is harder than driving engagement and I'm genuinely unsure whether I should keep going with this approach

so I'd love some honest opinions.

The screenshots show our new #archives channel, which I created yesterday. I made cards for each of our standout events. We've hosted more than whats shown, but these represent the best of them only 5 truly quality events over 3 years. Four went incredibly well, and the last one failed pretty badly.

We're also planning an art based event run by our community on Instagram and we're currently looking for sponsors.

what's really been on my mind ?

I've been focused on running unique Discord events the kind you dont typically see elsewhere. Sometimes they fall flat sometimes they take off. They're not frequent and while everyone recommends at least one event per month thats a challenge when every concept is original and people rarely show interest upfront.

Now I'm questioning my own motivation am I hosting events for real engagement or just for appearances?

What I'm trying to build is a culture of quality over quantity. But it's infrequent it doesn't generate as much engagement as traditional events and our upcoming Instagram event won't drive any activity on Discord at all. So I have to ask "is this still worth pursuing?"

CommunityOne Builders Help: Growth Update

It has been 3 years I made my Discord server which is a social community I do not know why I chose the path of no promotion giveaways or ping for ping partnerships I did not allow dating in my server I always chose organic and real members who feel included in a family not just a member of a server But just imagine one thousand members in three years I feel like I am just wasting time or what I thought I would do some online events sell tickets or memberships and start hosting real life events but that part is still too far I recently discontinued using Disboard because there is no point in being there I only had a handful of members every month who do not care about the community at all and I knew I got members from ChatGPT Google and other social platforms Once I made my own web page like a top Indian Discord server listing and I kept my own server on top and this is what other communities do to grow even a company like DigitalOcean I got tons of members every day I felt shameful about fooling people I thought it is better that other platforms call us top and rank us higher and we get better reviews to attract quality members And this new path destroyed me I do not have new member joins anymore We have been stuck on the same number for two months The goal for this year was five thousand members and we did not even hit two thousand According to the growth rate we should have hit two thousand already I feel so tired and like a failure I will not give up but it is painful After all this I am still stupid I am going to remove other self promotional content from server listings soon too

Partner With Make Money Online: Sponsorships Wanted

Hello. I own a server named Make Money Online.

The focus of the server is to help beginners learn about GPT-style of earning - Beermoney. All ways are free, tested, and clearly explained — no investment or skills required. We promote anything that helps people make easy extra money online legitimately. I also offer ways to earn directly inside the server (economy system with real value).

My issue is getting more members interested in such ways. My interest is those niches, the higher, the more important:
- 🎮 Gaming communities.
- 🎁 Giveaways / freebies places.
- 😂 Social / meme / chatting communities.
- 💵 Earning-related communities/websites (NOT competitors, this also refers to earning apps/sites).
- Discords, Telegram groups, forums, subreddits, websites, Twitter/X pages, etc.

We want communities whose users would genuinely benefit from knowledge inside MMO, or apps/sites members of MMO would benefit from.

If you own such a community and would be interested in working with me — being sponsored by me, let me know.
If you don't own such a community, but know how to find ones interested you could also help greatly and I'd reward you per success as per my community rules (per good lead + bonuses for performance).

Reward Tags and Partnerships for Discord Servers

Hello! Im excited to have discovered this section of the server today. Im an owner of a server and I'm wondering if other owners or admins have any insight.

First, I would like to implement a system to reward members for adopting our server tag with a special role, does anyone know of any (free) bots that handle this? I do have mee6 premium, but do not think mee6 currently can do this. Also, how do you reward members for adopting your tag, if you do so?

My other question is on partnerships. We used to do formal partnerships with a staff member in charge of finding and vetting partnership applications. This seemed to be more hassle than it was worth at the time and we moved to only posting servers of members we get to know. As we are now on a push to grow more, im considering starting them again. I guess my main question is: do other owners find this process difficult? I run a SFW 18+ server with no nsfw content, no e dating, chill vibes and I had found in the past that it was difficult to find other 18+ SFW server and if i did find them theyre usually labeled "toxic" and doesnt really align with my own server.

Any insights/tips are welcome!

Server-to-Server Help Hub Proposal

A forum for just server owners/mods to share ideas and events, show off their own server features, find mods or partners etc, with other server mods would be incredibly helpful!

This forum seems to be aimed at suggestions for this server (based on tags when posting) but a hub for server owners to network is greatly needed!

Quota-Based Moderator System Proposal

Im planning to implement a major update to how moderation actions work in our community and I do like your input on the setup.
Currently, moderator roles are placed below regular rank holders and are not visually separated. This is intentional, I want staff to feel integrated with the community rather than positioned above it.
This structure creates a technical limitation. Discord’s permission system prevents moderators with lower roles from taking action against higher ranked members. To work around this, I introduced a top-level role to artificially elevate staff permissions. While functional, this approach creates inconsistencies and undermines my goal of distributing authority since all staff effectively end up with the same level of power.
To address these issues, Im working on a new system using custom commands.
The first component is a whitelist command which will allow specific staff members and selected patron roles to bypass certain moderation restrictions. These commands won’t rely on standard Discord permissions. Instead, they will operate on a quota-based system to prevent abuse and enforce controlled usage.
With this approach, moderators won’t require elevated role permissions, reducing risk. It also ensures that anti-nuke systems remain effective, since actions will be regulated through controlled command usage rather than unrestricted role-based authority.

Product Recap: SEO, Security & Spark AI Updates

Hey guys! Here's a quick recap on this week's product update:

Growing Your Community and Nailing SEO
When it comes to ranking high on Google and in our server listings, we believe it’s all about serving your users well and showcasing your domain expertise. We help you do this by interlinking related topics & articles so Google knows exactly what subjects your community is an authority on. Also, if your server has over 100 members, you can apply for verification! We'll do a manual safety check, and once approved, you’ll get a nice little ranking boost on our front page.

Keeping Things Secure with User Gating
Nobody likes spammers or scammers, so we’ve introduced a new server gating feature to keep them out. It asks interested users to log in with their Discord account, and then our system gives them a score based on their ban logs. If someone scores too low, we block them from seeing the server listing altogether. Yes, this adds a tiny bit of friction and might lower your overall traffic, but it absolutely guarantees you are getting higher-quality members. As a quick tip, we highly recommend using auto-mod to kick accounts that are less than a day old—our data shows that about 30% of spam accounts fall into that bucket!

Spark AI is Getting Even Better
We have some massive updates rolling out for our Spark AI bot. Soon, you’ll be able to embed it right onto your own external website using a simple code snippet. We’re also launching a "content gap analytics" tool to help you spot the common questions your community is asking that don't currently have answers in your knowledge base. Plus, our premium users will be able to choose specific AI models that match their community's vibe—whether you need a strict, support-focused tone or a casual, conversational one.

Communityone Analytics vs Statbot
We built Communityone's analytics to stand out from tools like StatBot by focusing heavily on human interaction and dead-accurate data. For example, we completely strip bot messages out of your activity counts so you get a clear picture of real engagement. Since Discord’s audit logs usually only catch about 30% of departing members, our platform actually manually counts leavers to give you precise, trustworthy growth data. If you're looking at your monetization potential, keep an eye on your "messages per member" to spot your superfans, and "words per message" to really understand your audience's demographic.

Ads, Emojis, and Making Money
Right now, we're testing an experimental ad feature where you can grab a front-page spot for just 15 a week—which usually brings your acquisition cost down to around 10 cents per user! While our main focus today is helping you grow with high-quality engagement, we’re planning to roll out member subscription options in Q4 so you can start directly monetizing. Finally, don't sleep on emojis as a growth tool! We use AI to classify them to give your server better search visibility. Just keep in mind that if you disable emoji downloads, your server won't show up on our aggregate discovery pages.

Best Tools for Discord Growth & Engagement

I have a few options for tracking server growth
Statbot, the Discord Dev Page, CommunityOne Analytics, and a few others.

Honestly I use all of them and compare their graphs side by side. Each platform has at least one unique feature you won't find anywhere else. For example, the Discord Dev Page can detect the geographic regions of people joining the server, CommunityOne tracks moderator activity, and Statbot is the tool I rely on daily for engagement and growth analysis. It has a clean UI and a ton of options, including voice activity tracking and per-member activity profiling.

Now I'm a bit confused, should I stick to just one platform and focus on its unique features, or keep using all of them together purely for recording data?

I'd love to hear your opinion based on your own experience. How do you compile your growth and engagement metrics? Which tools are enough on their own? And if we want to take advantage of multiple unique features, what's the best way to combine and make sense of them all?
