I canโ€™t quite remember how it went but all the sudden at around 9 or 10 years old my dad bought himself a sunburst Fender strat and after trying I was hooked

let me set the scene

i was 14 and i had practically been listening to twenty one pilots for a few months, it was my first ever experience where music had connected to me in a personal level and it wasnt just something that sounded good to my ears

my dad gave me the chance to get myself an instrument and i chose the ukulele for three reasons; cheap, easy and twenty one pilots.

right then and there, the moment i got my ukulele, i just couldnt stop loving music, i've moved on from twenty one pilots to other artists and i slowly started to diversify my music taste more especially with the rhythm game called osu which would let me start to form a taste for rock and other heavier genres which would influence me to move on to a guitar

funny story about my experience on something similar

when i was a toddler back then, my family's yearly fiesta would have a live band and during on their break sets, i would go an attempt on using the drums. My dad told me how the musicians saw me using their equipment and realizing I had rhythm at about 3-5 yrs of age. I grew up with that sense of rhythm and I think playing osu! has helped me stay connected with that side of me.

Thought of revisiting this

the evolution of my love for instruments started when I started listening to Nirvana, not sure why I ended up sidetracking them when I've already had an ear for metal during my rhythm gaming days but I digress.

I ended up with my electric guitar and about 3 years later, I ended up with an electric guitar and as of now, I've had my guitar for nearly a year at this point, my acoustic is about 4 years old and is de for a refret at some point since it uses nickel

Regardless, I've been having fun with my journey, I'm not the best guitarist but I'm having alot of fun.
