Sources that omar wanted burn the house of fatimah
38061- Muhammad ibn Bishr narrated to us, Ubayd Allah ibn Umar narrated to us, Zayd ibn Aslam narrated to us, on the authority of his father Aslam, that when Abu Bakr was given the oath of allegiance after the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), Ali and Zubayr would enter upon Fatimah, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), consult with her, and reconsider their decision. When this reached Umar ibn al-Khattab, he went out and entered upon Fatima, so he said: O daughter of the Messenger of God, by God, there is no one dearer to us than your father, and there is no one among creation dearer to us after your father than you. And by God, that will not prevent me, if these men gather at your house, from ordering that the house be burned down upon them. He said: So when Umar left, they came to her, and she said: You know that Umar has

Umar ibn al-Khattab's hiding in his house for fear of the polytheists (Bukhari)
Yahya ibn Sulayman told me, saying: Ibn Wahb told me, saying: Umar ibn Muhammad told me, saying: My grandfather, Zayd ibn Abdullah ibn Umar, told me, on the authority of his father, that while he was in the house, fearful, al-As ibn Waโil al-Sahmi, Abu Amr, came to him wearing a fine robe and a shirt hemmed in silk. He was from the Banu Sahm, who were our allies in the pre-Islamic era. He said to him, โWhat is the matter?โ He said, โYour people claim that they will kill me if I convert to Islam.โ He said, โThere is no way to you.โ After he said that, you were safe. Al-As went out and met the people, who were in the valley. He said, โWhere are you going?โ They said, โWe are going to see Ibn al-Khattab, who converted.โ He said, โThere is no way to him.โ So the people turned back.
"Yahya ibn Sulayman ibn Wahhab narrated from Umar ibn Muhammad from his grandfather Zayd ibn Abdullah ibn Umar from his father Abdullah ibn Umar: While he (Umar ibn al-Khattab) was in his house, afraid, Abu Amr As ibn Wasil al-Sahmi came to him. He was wearing a beautiful garment and a silk shirt. He was from the tribe of Banu Sahm. Banu Sahm was our ally during the pre-Islamic period. As ibn Wail asked him, "Why are you in this state, what are you afraid of, (why are you hiding)?" He said, "Your people are planning to kill me because I have embraced Islam." As said, "They cannot do anything to you." He said, "After what As said, I felt safe."
As came out of the house, faced the crowd that was flowing like a flood, and asked them, "Where are you going?" They said: "We are going for Ibn Khattab. He has left the religion of his fathers." As said: "Have nothing to do with him!" After As said this, the people returned."
