Zellonia Server Recovery Update
Zusammenfassung
Zellonia was targeted by an internal attack that deleted most channels; implicated accounts were removed and all staff positions are temporarily suspended. The announcement confirms Force Thirteen operations are unaffected, asks members to use temporary rooms while Discord guidance is awaited, and requests reports of unusual activity and suggestions for rebuilding the server.
Good morning
Our server was nuked this morning, but it hasn't been destroyed, and I'm pleased to see the community effort in keeping things as normal as possible whilst we work things out. Some key points
- What happens in our server does not impact any of Force Thirteen's operations
- The attack was from the inside, and so all staff positions have been temporarily suspended. The people involved have been removed.
- Most channels were deleted, and their histories are unlikely to be restored. Please always remember that you cannot rely on servers like these for archiving information or media
- We are waiting for guidance from Discord, but it is likely that later today we will begin to restructure the channels again. In the meantime please use the temporary rooms that have been kindly set up by fast acting members of our community
- If you see anything unusual, please report it to me or to Discord
- If you have any other recommendations for us, please send them through to me or #channel if you would like a broader discussion
Thanks for sticking by us and we're doing fine, as always things will be improved
