Lebanese Fitness Influencer Accused of Steroid Deception

Just the kind of representation Lebanon needs! A liar and a con artist.

If you guys didnt know, this is Hussein Farhat, he is Lebanese and lives in Canada.

He has blown up in the fitness community all around the globe in the past few years for his insane transformation.

He claimed he was a lifetime natural (never took steriods/performance enhancing drugs) and achieved the transformation shown in the picture in less than 2 years.

He used all that attention and extreme genetic ability to lie (his dad must be a politician) to scam people and lie to young gym goers that he knows the way to have an insane physic naturally. Just buy his program!

Two days ago he was outted as a fake and turns out bro was blasting steroids and drugs for 16 months. And now he's making more excuses and lying more than ever to benefit.

I love how even outside of Lebanon, he is showing that our people's best skills are to lie and be con artists. Just what we needed!

What a joke.

Iranian Perspective on Lebanon, Hezbollah and Israel

With Love, From Iran [Warning: Long Post]

Dear people of Lebanon, as an Iranian, it is mind boggling how different some of our views are surrounding geopolitics involving your illegitimate neighbor. And I didn't know you guys hated our fucking guts so much. I also didn't know that we were oppressing people, other than our own, but some of you refer to us as your oppressors which is a very weird thing to see. What I do know for a fact, is that this sub and NewIran are heavily compromised and infiltrated with Zionist losers spreading propaganda and cosplaying as Lebanese, Iranian, etc., creating an echo chamber and a unilaterally Pro-Israel voice, and I’m absolutely sure that NewIran was created by the Zionists as a psyop stage to try to dismantle Iran from within. But man, some of you do genuinely hate us. Really, why is that? Is this an Anti-Shia thing? Because as an Ex-Muslim and a Non-Abrahamic ideology beholder, I just don’t understand the reason behind the hatred.

To me, some Shia people in your country called “Buddies of Allah” share the same sense of danger from this land stealing child murdering sex trafficking rogue fanatic terrorist state and want to defend themselves and don’t want their life and shit stolen from them like the Palestinians and don’t want to be Zionist bitch boys like Jordan is or torn apart like Syria is and don’t want to be slaves under a foreign yoke like the Saudis and the Gulf states are, and we’re always glad to help anyone of any faith or race who thinks the same. Now some of you say they’re not the “real” army, and idk how that is our business, but we see them as people standing up to tyranny who are in need of help, and I’m sure if your “real” armed forces shared the same needs and sentiments, we’d help them too.

These racist Israeli cunts are suit and tie wearing religious fanatics who are way worse than turban head Islamic extremists who enforce their religion by their sword. They’re like crab people, hiding under a "modern" western human skin suit. These Zionist fuckers, the Jewish extremists, are on a...

Nawaf Salam Wins Praise for Lebanon Sovereignty

Nawaf Salam gained my respect today.

You know, since he became prime minister, a lot of people used to make fun of him, saying he was weak. Some even called him a leftist or said he was "pro-PLO," whatever that means. They claimed he was bought by Hezbollah or that he was too weak to face anyone and wasn't ready for Lebanon's political scene. But clearly, and I can confidently say this, he is one of the best prime ministers to ever take control of Lebanon in the post-Ta'if era. He is only rivaled by Hariri, and he even superseded Hariri in the files of state sovereignty. It is clear that Nawaf was up to the job, and everyone who doubted him, made fun of him, or even accused him of being a leftist, pro-PLO, or a Hezbollah sympathizer was proved wrong.

Props to the President too.

Neutral perspective

Had Hezbollah not started firing rockets after Oct. 7, there would’ve been no war here.
I understand all the hate on this sub and can see the reason for it.
However, what if Israel doesn’t withdraw? What if they continue stealing our land? I’d just like to hear the perspective of those against Hezb so I can form a rounded personal opinion. I’m currently against them disarming because I do not wanna get butt-fucked by an Israeli named Mordechai 🤮
Help me change my mind, I’m open minded.

Lebanon War Displacement: A Personal Story

Story time (28th of September)

I'm a shiite girl, living in a Shia area, and was displaced during the war...

I don't support HA( I actually despise them and not only because they are a brainwashed cult but like for personal reasons too...).

Anyways, we had to live temporary somewhere with another displaced people and there stayed with us some HA memebers so that they can "look after" us... They gave us some money tho ngl.

The day they found out Nasrallah died some of those HA "leaders" was speaking to my dad( well maybe my dad spoke to him first but yeah), he was in fuckin disbelief, for once I felt like these people actually have a brain ( didn't last long, apparently...). He said:" smth must be wrong in our religion, this is insane, maybe our books are wrong, or no maybe we misunderstood smth, a miracle must happen or else, it's all a big lie... The men (aka HA fighters) are crying and they are running away, are we this weak?!!! I actually can't believe this....)

"!معقول الحزب هلقد ضعيف؟" I will never forget this sentence, I was like finally finally they woke up lmao. But tbfh they're brainwashing themselves again lol.

Sorry I'm trying to keep my identity private so I didn't mention the names of the places.

Lebanese Army Raids Baalbek Drug Network

Lebanese Army Launches Huge Operation in Bekka Valley - Drone strikes house of notorious drug dealer and wanted fugitive Monzer Zeaiter, aka "Abou Salleh,"

The latest:

Around noon, the Lebanese Army launched a major security operation in Baalbek’s Sharawneh neighborhood, fully encircling the area and striking the residence of top fugitive Ali Monzer Zeaiter, aka "Abou Salleh," with multiple drone-fired missiles. Zeaiter and others targeted in the raid are known to have enjoyed long-standing protection from Hezbollah in this lawless stronghold.

Shortly after the strikes, armed men launched a retaliatory attack on an army barracks in Hermel’s Wadi Fissan.

The operation marks a bold move by the LAF in its intensified crackdown on fugitive networks and drug lords, particularly in Hezbollah-influenced areas of the Bekaa. Gunfire echoed throughout Sharawneh amid heavy security deployment. No official army statement yet on arrests.

Hezbollah supporters erupted in outrage on social media following reports that the Lebanese Army conducted a targeted raid against drug traffickers in Baalbek’s Sharawneh — a neighborhood long considered a Hezbollah stronghold.

The backlash comes amid growing tension between the army’s push for law enforcement and areas historically shielded by the party. Many online comments accused the military of "crossing red lines" by striking figures once seen as untouchable.

Lebanon Community: Asylum Dilemma and Ziad Rahbani Plays

I feel miserable

I was supposed to go enjoy a month in Canada, you know just a vacation after 4 years of being stressed out from work and everything else.
Now i’m being pressured to try and claim asylum.

I’ve been with my family for 27 years… i’m an introvert, I rarely go out… so it’s safe to say that my family is my life.
I’m attached to my little sister more than anything in life, she’s my everything.
And now my uncle whom i’m visiting is pressuring me to do something that i really don’t know if I even want.

Like he’s been there all his life basically, it’s easy for him. I always dreamt of moving out, leaving this country, getting my own place and all that shit…. But it was just dreams… now it just feels like a nightmare.

If i didn’t pay my hard earned money on that ticket, I would’ve cancelled everything and just sat home for a month.

I really don’t know what to do

Do Lebanese Realtors Disclose Haunted Properties?

Do Lebanese realtors have to disclose if a building or house is allegedly haunted ??

I once read a book by Rudolf Steiner in which he described cities & places as containing etheric energy spiritual residues that absorb & reflect energies of the people & events around them whether good or bad. That idea always stayed with me. In Lebanon certain buildings & places have witnessed continuous trauma from ancient times to modern. theres a heaviness in some spaces that’s hard to ignore especially if you're more sensitive to environments and people

I recently came across a post mentioning that in certain america states real estate agents are legally required to disclose if a property is believed to be haunted especially if such a reputation could affect its sale. This made me wonder: Do we have anything similar in Lebanon???

Given that so much in our society is sect based, & that both Christians & Muslims have rituals & traditions for dealing with jinn, spirits, or demonic energies does a haunted or spiritually burdened property fall under legal, religious, or purely private jurisdiction? After all many homes / buildings in 🇱🇧 have witnessed death, violence & traumatic despair . so my question is do lebanese estate agents have any legal obligation to disclose such histories or is it something that remains in the realm of community knowledge left to be addressed by priests, sheikhs, & imams?

I’ve even heard that some of the abandoned villas & buildings are not just neglected due to age or disrepair but are believed to be haunted people avoid them out of fear not just due to burdensome practicality of restoration of an old building

I found this online which reflects americans legal standard

“In most jurisdictions, legally a seller or their agent must disclose physical defects or events that materially affect the value of the property, such as structural damage or deaths on the premises within a certain timeframe. Alleged hauntings are usually not included. Agents cannot lie about such matters if asked, but they are usually not obligated to volunteer unasked disclosure about ghosts or a propert...

Lebanese Diaspora Love and Longing: A Personal Vent

My Body is Here, My Soul is Elsewhere (vent)

I am an 18 year old man from the Lebanese diaspora.

This story begins last summer, when I was seventeen and visiting my Fatherland for the first time in years. That summer was unforgettable– I became somewhat of a celebrity in my village, making friends left and right. I had so much fun, going to clubs in the city and spending precious time with my family and those friends. But the crown on the throne, the cherry on the cake, the orange blossom on the soil was my downstairs neighbor who was a younger girl. Her name was Maria.

She was a blast, but in a simple way. We would get lawn chairs and sit in front of our apartment building and just talk and talk for hours, about nothing and about everything. The time we spent together was simple, but it fulfilled me. Her wide smile, her playfulness and her sense of humor– it was just all so wonderful.

By the time my time there was running out and I had to go back to the states, the whole neighborhood was grieving my departure. But especially Maria.

About three days before I had to go, her and I went out on a walk in the village where we went picking flowers, jasmine and a couple other kinds. That's when she told me she had to tell me a secret, so I lent her an ear when she said she loved me.

I was in shock, it felt like forever that I was just standing there unable to respond. I thought to act quickly so I just simply told her I loved her back.

Before we knew it, the sun was coming down which meant we had to go back home before the dogs came out. And during that walk back home, what had happened was setting deeper and deeper into my soul.

She walked into the building ahead of me and she went down her flight of stairs parallel to mine, before I looked over the guard down at her and got her attention. I reached my hand down and she reached for it. I took her hand and gave it a gentle squeeze while smiling. Then we went back to our apartments.

After that, the feelings hit me like a truck. I got super giddy and almost screamed into my pillow. That showed that aft...

Ziad Al Rahbani: Art, Legacy & Uncertain Information

Emphasizing the Philosophical Core of Ziad Al Rahbani

Hey everyone, I've created this poster for Ziad Al Rahbani and I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.
It's titled 'معلومات مش اكيدة' 'Uncertain Information'. My aim with this design is to explore how Ziad's immense influence and spirit truly defy death, continuing to live on as a vital part of our culture here in Lebanon and beyond.

At the center, you'll see an extinguished cigarette. I specifically chose the cigarette because it was so iconic to Ziad he smoked a lot, it was part of his persona. But it also carries this incredible paradox for me: while smoking can be deadly, for some, it's a profound ritual of contemplation, a moment that paradoxically makes them feel alive. So, this stub represents a life intensely lived and concluded, but its smoldering embers and the ash clearly signify that a deep residue of his thought and being absolutely remains. For me, it's not just an end, but a transformation of his energy, still resonating and leaving its indelible mark.

If you look at the background, you'll see it's subtly textured with layered and fading Arabic lyrics from his famous song 'يا زمان الطائفية' 'Oh, Time of Sectarianism'. These aren't just words; they're the persistent echoes of his social critique and his powerful plea for unity. Even as they visually recede, they become deeply woven into our collective consciousness. There's this profound irony too: the very sectarianism he fought so hard against, for a brief moment in his passing, seemed to unite the entire nation in grief.

Finally, the title itself, 'معلومات مش اكيدة,' frames the whole piece. It challenges the very idea of an absolute end. It suggests that a spirit and a body of work as significant as Ziad's achieve a kind of immortality. For me, his physical passing becomes 'uncertain information' because his philosophy, his music, and his sharp observations continue to permeate our reality, shaping the present and echoing far beyond a single lifetime. In essence, I'm asserting that his legacy is a living, breathing force, a truth that remains...

Unmissable Beirut exhibition, ‘Impressions of Paradise’, spotlights why the Lebanese capital was known as the Paris of the Middle East.

The Nuhad Es-Said Pavilion for Culture in Beirut has welcomed its second ever exhibition with ‘Impressions of Paradise’, inviting visitors to take part in a captivating journey that explores the ‘Golden Age’ image of Lebanon through a collection of vintage tourism advertisements, archive documents and cinema posters from the 1920s to the 1970s, taken from the Philippe Jabre Art Collection.

Open until September 30, this impressive Beirut exhibition brings together iconic images of Lebanon’s past – from lush Cedar forests and Roman ruins, to beautiful beaches and charming villages – specifically crafted to appeal to Western eyes. They deliberately paint the ‘Paris of the Middle East’ as a gorgeous, exotic locale, whether that be for a personal holiday or the racy, exotic espionage thrillers once popularly depicted in regional films. It’s an image that many Lebanese still pine for today, but also one layered with complications, often tinged by bitterness and loss.

“This exhibition is – in essence – a reflection of my commitment to preserving, understanding and weaving together the diverse threads that have shaped Lebanon’s visual and cultural history over the past four centuries,” collection founder Philippe Jabre told AD, “from orientalist paintings to photographs to modern...
