It involves a short online meeting, then a 5-minute daily survey for 21 days. Participants are paid up to £62, depending on how many surveys they complete. You need to be 18+, UK-based and using cannabis regularly (medical or recreational).

👋 Say hello to @Basil - UKMC Bot

Our stock bot has a name at last. Basil watches Medicann, IPS and Montu around the clock, posting restocks and price changes in the stock channels and DMing you when something you're tracking moves.

This week he's learned a few new tricks:

🏷️ You can now track a whole brand

Until now you could only track products one at a time, which meant you couldn't hear about something before it existed. Now you can follow a producer instead - head to #product-notifications-signup and hit Track a Brand.

You'll be covering their whole range, across every pharmacy that stocks them. You'll get a DM when they list something new, or when anything of theirs comes back in stock.

🏥 Just one pharmacy, if you prefer

Most of us are only registered with one or two pharmacies, so being told about stock you can't order isn't much use. When a brand is sold in more than one place, you'll be asked which you want alerts for - or pick all of them.

📉 Price drops only

If you've had alerts telling you your medication has gone up in price, sorry about that. You can now choose price drops only, and you'll never be pinged about an increase again.

🔕 Turn any alert off from the DM itself

Every alert now has a button to stop it, right there in the message. No need to come back here and hunt through your list.

📋 My Alerts has been tidied up

It was getting long and hard to read. It's now much shorter, and shows exactly what you're tracking, at which pharmacy, and what each one will ping you about.

🐛 Spotted something wrong?

There's now a Report a Bug button on the panel that takes you straight to #create-a-ticket. If an alert looks wrong or you encounter any issues, please let us know.

• Your existing alerts are unchanged - nothing needs redoing.

Good news - the stock alert bot is back up and running for both Medicann and Montu. You'll once again get pings for restocks, price drops, and new product releases.

To get set up, head to #stock-alerts-signup to choose your pharmacy roles and enable notifications, then visit #product-notifications-signup to track specific products and get a DM whenever one changes.

The bot's had a bit of downtime recently, so if you spot any bugs or anything acting up, please open a ticket in #create-a-ticket and the team will take a look.
