A bit of update on our last week progress:

We have finished a major upgrade for our analytics. We are now allowing you to automatically track how effective your marketing strategy is via Spark analytics.

In our user acquisition tab on our analytics, you will be able to see how many are real people vs bots, which invite codes has the most amount of engaging users by tracking engagement rate based on dates and also invite code.

A bit of a background for those who knew user acqusition v1. we needed you to install Wick and invite tracker, both of which are hard to use. Now we are reading system log natively so that we can be bot agnostic. This will make it much easier for you to set up the user acquisition tab.

(1) We've managed to catch a few bugs this week. If you are having issues with Spark from before, feel free to kick him out and invite him again. Do not uncheck any of the permission that we ask for since we need all of them to make it work.

(2) A lot of you have asked for changing profile, and name of the bot. This is something that is going to be something that we work on very soon.

(3) We are also going to start working on infinite length doc in the next week, finally!

Jul 6th, Weekly Update

We notice a bug on Spark discord invite link that have prevented the bot from getting the right permission, if you are still trying to install Spark, please use our new installation link: https://discord.com/api/oauth2/authorize?client_id=1069423090225918082&permissions=2476317961297&scope=bot%20applications.commands

Moreever, we are continuing to reduce the number of bugs during setup. I know many of you are worried about security, we only ask for permissions that we require to have the bot setup properly. Here is a full list of permission that we need right now.

A couple of explanations:

(a) Embed links: our configuring guild has embedded links allowing you to get help or setup a call with me. Without this permission, you will not see our messages.

(b) Manage channels: we will open up private channels for new users so that they can chat with Spark and understand your projects in a more intimate settings.

(c) Manage roles: we need to have the ability to mention names (like you!) to tell you which channels our Spark setup is at.
