99
What does the 99 emoji mean?
Keep it one hundred, but make it slightly off.
The 99 emoji is a humorous subversion of the classic 100 emoji, often used to signal that something is almost perfect but falls just short. It is frequently deployed in Discord servers to sarcastically critique a take, point out a minor flaw, or mock someone trying too hard to be authentic. It captures the essence of 'close, but no cigar' in a punchy, red-text format.
When to use it
