What does the a_expert emoji mean?

The ultimate 'well, actually' moment captured in one smug adjustment of the glasses.

This emoji features an anime-style character performing the classic 'glasses push' gesture, a trope often associated with intellectual superiority, condescension, or revealing a hidden truth. It is a staple in Discord communities for shutting down bad takes, correcting misinformation, or simply acting like an insufferable know-it-all in a playful way.

When to use it

  • Correcting someone who is clearly being wrong
  • Acting like a condescending intellectual in chat
  • Revealing a hidden truth during a debate
  • Mocking someone for their lack of knowledge
