What does the catestare emoji mean?

A hilariously intense, close-up stare from a cat that demands your full attention.

This emoji features a distorted, extreme close-up of a cat's face, capturing a look of intense, unblinking focus. It is a staple of internet meme culture, often used to convey suspicion, judgment, or an awkward 'staring contest' vibe in Discord chats. Its low-resolution, slightly cursed aesthetic makes it perfect for reacting to questionable statements or awkward silences.

When to use it

  • Expressing judgment during a weird conversation
  • Staring down someone who said something silly
  • Reacting to an awkward or suspicious message
